TomTom Magazine EP Review

My biggest highlight of the night was three piece, Isla, fresh off the release of their first three track EP, Constellations. They played their own songs which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The vocalist also doubled up on sax, and I actually downloaded their EP from iTunes while I was still at the gig and unashamedly listen to it on repeat. They’re the kind of act that prove that while grubby, scruffy boys with guitars and boots might dominate the indie genre they by no means have a monopoly.
Regal Room Review
A review of Isla’s gig at the Regal Room, Hammersmith on 9th September 2011.
Tonight’s gig is an absolute triumph, if you have a chance to see this sister act. My advice is to grab that chance with both hands.
Introducing Isla
Isla are made up of three rather extraordinary young ladies. Not only are they beautiful and hugely talented but they are also three of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.

Constellations is an EP that rewrites the Indie genre and reforms it into a pure, angelic, bittersweet niche…with joyous melodies, delicate harmonies and an inescapable charm.
